Kristine brings three decades of experience and an intense focus on financial positioning, strategy, and process refinement on business drivers including sales, purchasing, systems, overall messaging, and contracting. Kristine stepped into the CEO role in 2022, keeping our ability and motivation to deliver excellence, alongside measured growth as her primary focus.

Kristine’s strengths include client management, team development, strategy, complete financial modeling, integration, and execution. With vast experience in developing metrics, costing framework, and guiding reporting structure both within Steve Short Culinary Team’s brands and for outside consulting projects, Kristine is able to efficiently build out budgets and develop a systematic financial approach for all new and ongoing contracts and projects that delivers transparency and ease for all clients.

Experienced in growth, expansion, comprehensive systems - from inception to integration, logistical framework, and not to be forgotten, a chef at heart; Steve is an expert at seeing the whole picture and what processes are needed to create success.

His primary motivation is creating environments, through exceptionally thought-out and crafted methods, that place the guest experience at the center of attention and where team members not only shine, but take pride in the work of hospitality.

Steve composes every menu and dish and together with his culinary team, crafts every last detail until all components perfectly compliment one another. Drawing from influences including his lineage, his upbringing in farm culture, New American cuisine and Arizona and its nuanced flavors, he creates menus that reflect purpose.
